We are happy to announce that Morten Bruun, project manager and director, will appear at the Caleido festival in Bucharest. Morten has been asked to contribute his experiences with implementing applied theatre projects in Romania. The talk will outline the history of collective theatre processes. Augusto Boal’s ideas about social theatre is central to this work.

The International Theatre Festival Caleido  is co-financed by the European Economic Area (EEA) Grants, through the program “Promotion of diversity in culture and arts within European cultural heritage”. The aim of the project is heightening awareness and celebrating multiculturalism through an ample program which encompasses a thorough documentation of the history and cultural identity of ethnic minorities living in Romania, a complex communication and awareness campaign, a 5 – day theatre festival – “Caleido” – focused on the intangible heritage of ethnic communities, workshops and seminars for Romanian cultural entrepreneurs and drama students.
