Noproductions was founded by Nic in 2001 as a production company focusing on international collaborations within the field of theatre and film. After studying at both RADA and Bristol Old Vic theatre school, Nic has worked as a director and actor in theatre, film and TV. As well as being a performing artist he has gained great experience in the administration and production of artistic programs. The 2003 production of "The Air Others Breathe" by Danish playwright Line Knutzon was the first collaboration between the company and director Morten Bruun.

Morten was educated at E15 Acting School and got his B.A. from University of East London, UK. Morten has worked as an actor internationally in the UK/US as well as in his native Norway. Cast as Ibrahim in the play Hyttekoz, he was part of the 2009 season at Sogn og Fjordane Teater. The institution was awarded the national Hedda prize in 2010 for its development of new plays.
After further studies in the field of drama pedagogy at the University College of Oslo, he has initiated several applied theatre projects. Based on the ideas of Augusto Boal and Paulo Freire, these activities seek to enhance the esthetic and artistic competency of its participants. His projects have been backed by local governments as well as NGO's. Morten Bruun has developed international artistic collaborations through the EEA Grants funding mechanism with Polish and Romanian partners.
